Author and spoken word artist Dionne D. Hunter proudly presented A Night of Artistic Renewal Vol. II: Celebrating the Power of Dreams, a free community cultural event featuring spoken word poetry, dance, live painting, song, and comedy.

This highly anticipated event showcased a talented line up of exceptional artists, including Emmy Award-winning spoken word artist Boris “Bluz” Rogers, Charlotte’s Poet Laureate Junious ‘Jay’ Ward, spoken word artists Keith Allison and Linda Orji. But that’s not all, the event also featured electrifying choreography from Vision Elite Royalty Dance Studio and Jerry Dean aka “Ungraceful Jay,” and a breath-taking musical performance from the internationally renowned violinist Candice “Pretty Stringz” Smith, along with the extraordinary vocal talents of Spencer “Suspence” Sims. Additionally, visual artist Tajmah Allison will showcase her incredible artwork.

This family-friendly event was designed to educate, stimulate, and entertain people of all ages and backgrounds but especially youth.

Attendees also had the opportunity to purchase copies of the performing artists’ merchandise before and after the event.
